Brendan is a Partner of Irish Technology Capital. Prior to ITC, he spent 16 years in the venture and private equity industry.  From 2006 to 2008, Brendan was a Director at Investure, a $7B consortium of University endowments and charitable foundations. During his tenure, Investure committed in excess of $400 Million to more than 20 top tier Venture Capital and Buyout Funds in the US, Asia and Europe.  From 1998 to 2006,  he was a Partner with Vision Capital, a trans-Atlantic venture firm, where he led the investment activity in Ireland and the UK, specializing in semiconductor, optical and hardware systems. He has extensive experience in sourcing, evaluating, investing in, managing and exiting European technology deals.  Before joining Vision in 1997, Brendan spent four years with Dominion Ventures, a venture firm in San Francisco with more than 150 portfolio companies. He worked in Dominion’s venture-leasing program both in San Francisco and Boston.  Brendan has also worked at Wells Fargo Asset Management in San Francisco; Project RAFT in Berkeley, CA and at Strategic Planning Associates in Washington, D.C.  He holds a BS in finance and management from the University of Virginia.
